Our Founder 

Our founder, Wally Barker, my husband of 28 years and I opened our business, Wally’s Collision on April 1, 2001.

Prior to our business Wally had cars in his life since he was very young, stemming back to when his father Charlie Barker owned the Sinclair Station across from Miller Park and Wally and his brother Bruce would work there. 


This eventually led to his career at the Chevrolet dealership here in Bloomington from 1982 through 2000.  Wally had a long career in which he gained much respect in the community because of his knowledge, fairness and the quality of work.

That is what he brought with him to our shop, knowledge, fairness and most of all quality, which is what our family here at Wally’s, strives to continue.

Wally unfortunately passed away September 2012.  But, our family here at Wally’s Collision and Service Center continues to carry on Wally’s vision, “a quality repair for a fair price.”

Wally had such a presence about him, he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
